Terms of Use — Int4 Knowledge Base
Effective date: 19.05.2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Int4 Knowledge Base (the "Knowledge Base"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Knowledge Base.
2. Nature and purpose of the Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base is a complementary, informational resource maintained by Int4 AG ("Int4," "we," "our"). It is intended to share practical guidance, examples, troubleshooting tips, how-to articles, and supplementary materials related to Int4's products and services. The Knowledge Base is provided as an aid to learning and operational efficiency; it is not part of the official product documentation and does not replace it.
3. Official Documentation prevails
The sole authoritative and contractually binding source for product specifications, features, supported configurations, and use guidance is the official Int4 Documentation available at http://help.int4.com (the "Official Documentation"). In the event of any inconsistency between content in the Knowledge Base and the Official Documentation, the Official Documentation prevails. The Knowledge Base does not amend, supplement, or modify any agreement you may have with Int4, including software licenses, support agreements, professional services agreements, or service- level commitments.
4. Intellectual property
All content published in the Knowledge Base — including articles, text, graphics, diagrams, screenshots, logos, scripts, code samples, and configuration files — is the property of Int4 AG or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "Int4" and the Int4 logo are trademarks of Int4 AG. Third-party trademarks referenced in the Knowledge Base remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
5. Permitted use
You may access, view, and print Knowledge Base content for your internal business or personal informational purposes. You may use code samples, scripts, and configuration examples internally to evaluate, configure, or operate Int4 products you are licensed to use, provided that:
(a) you do not remove any copyright, attribution, or proprietary notices;
(b) you do not represent such content as your own; and
(c) you bear sole responsibility for testing, validating, and adapting any such samples before using them in production environments.
6. Prohibited use
Without Int4's prior written consent, you may not:
(a) reproduce, redistribute, republish, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Knowledge Base content;
(b) modify or create derivative works based on Knowledge Base content for external distribution;
(c) use the Knowledge Base to develop or train a competing product, service, model, or knowledge resource;
(d) use automated means (including scrapers, crawlers, or bots) to access, harvest, or collect content in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or imposes an undue burden on our infrastructure; or
(e) interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of the Knowledge Base, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of it.
7. Code samples, scripts, and configurations
Code samples, scripts, and configuration files in the Knowledge Base are provided as illustrative examples only. They are not part of any Int4 product, are not covered by any support agreement, and may not have been tested across all environments, releases, or use cases. You are solely responsible for:
-
evaluating their fitness for your specific environment;
-
testing in non-production systems prior to deployment;
-
complying with your organization's security, change-management, and operational policies; and
-
any consequences resulting from their use.
8. Third-party content and links
The Knowledge Base may contain references to, or hyperlinks to, third-party websites, products, services, standards, or content. Such references are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement or recommendation. Int4 does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, security, or practices of any linked third-party resources, and accessing them is at your own risk.
9. User Content and license to Int4
9.1 No ownership claim.
Int4 does not claim ownership of any content that you post, upload, input, submit, or otherwise make available through the Knowledge Base or any related Int4 website, forum, comment thread, wiki, or blog ("User Content"). User Content includes, without limitation, articles, information, data, code, text, software, documentation, graphics, images, marketing material, videos, photographs, messages, suggestions, feedback, ideas, and any other postings.
9.2 License grant.
By posting, transmitting, or uploading any User Content, you grant to Int4 AG a perpetual, irrevocable (subject to mandatory data protection requirements), non-exclusive, worldwide, fully paid-up, and royalty-free license to use such User Content without restrictions of any kind and without any payment, consideration, permission, or further notification to you or any third party. This license includes, without limitation, the right to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, combine with other works, alter, translate, distribute copies of, display, perform, license, and provide the User Content to third parties; to make, have made, offer to sell, sell, lease, or otherwise distribute any User Content or product embodying it; and to practice any method embodied in such User Content, including the right to sublicense any of the foregoing through multiple tiers.
9.3 Your representations.
You represent and warrant to Int4 that you have the right, title, and authority necessary to grant the license set out in Section 9.2, and that your User Content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party, does not contain confidential information of any third party, and does not contain personal data of other individuals without a lawful basis.
9.4 Discretion to publish or withdraw.
Int4 may elect, in its sole discretion, not to post or publish User Content that you submit. If Int4 elects to post or publish your User Content, Int4 may, in its sole discretion and at any time, withdraw the posted or published User Content for any reason and without notice, and without liability to you or any third party.
9.5 No confidential or special relationship.
You acknowledge and agree that the relationship between you and Int4 in connection with your submission of User Content is not a confidential, fiduciary, or other special relationship, and that your submission does not place Int4 in a position that is any different from the position held by members of the general public with regard to your User Content.
9.6 Name, likeness, and attribution.
Int4 shall have the right, but not the obligation, to use your name, likeness, biography, employer, and other information that you have provided in connection with the use, publication, or attribution of the User Content you submit. Int4 may continue to use this information after any termination of your account or your access to the Knowledge Base for the purpose of identifying the source of User Content you previously submitted.
9.7 No restriction on Int4's own development.
Nothing in these Terms shall prohibit or restrict Int4's right to create, develop, acquire, license, publish, or otherwise obtain content, submissions, products, or services that are similar to, or competitive with, the User Content that you have submitted, including without any obligation of compensation or attribution to you.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Knowledge Base and all content within it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Int4 makes no representation that the Knowledge Base will be error-free, secure, or continuously accessible, and reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Knowledge Base at any time without notice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Int4 AG, its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunity, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of the Knowledge Base, even if Int4 has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including, where applicable, liability for personal injury, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct).
12. Changes to content and to these Terms
We may update, supplement, correct, retire, or remove Knowledge Base content at any time without prior notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; the revised Terms take effect upon publication on this page. Your continued use of the Knowledge Base after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Effective date" indicates when the current version was published.
13. Privacy
Use of the Knowledge Base is subject to our Privacy Policy, available at Privacy Policy – INT4 Please review it to understand how we process personal data in connection with the Knowledge Base, including cookies and analytics.
14. Export and sanctions compliance
You agree to use the Knowledge Base in compliance with all applicable export control, economic sanctions, and trade laws of the European Union, the United States, and any other jurisdiction applicable to you.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive venue for disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms is the competent courts of Zug. This provision does not deprive consumers of mandatory rights under the laws of their country of habitual residence.
16. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the documents they reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Int4 regarding your use of the Knowledge Base and supersede any prior understandings on that subject.
